Lamar Redevelopment
For this project, groups of three began by selecting a strip mall site in the austin area that needed rejuvenation. The site we chose along Burnet and North Loop was a sea
of concrete parking lot and empty building. Our goal was to add green space, create a place for community interaction through program and design of interstitial space, maintain the character of the neighborhood, and reach LEED Silver standards.
