BUSINESS

ESTABLISHING SYSTEMS

As Design Project Manager at [24]7, I worked directly under the Chief Design Officer, and managed the day to day activities of a growing Studio of UX designers, researchers, writers, and developers creating enterprise customer service software.

 

I partnered with product management, marketing, and design leads in USA, India, and Manila to scope, budget, and drive projects through Agile planning while addressing business and user experience needs. I also established systems to improve collaboration and increase local and global accountability of cross geo teams, implementing onboarding processes to reduce onboarding time from 2 weeks to 2 days.

 

 

Here you can see the artifacts of initiatives I led to promote cross training of designers - including establishing the Design Studio website, designing and coding a monthly newsletter, and planning annual the Design Summit attended by design team and CEO. 

 

The Design Studio website was created from a Wordpress template, which I then altered the CSS for to better reflect the company brand. 

 

The newsletter is meant to be distributed through email, so I wanted to be sure it would read well through Outlook and gmail, both on desktop and mobile. I used nested tables and inline CSS to ensure the newsletter would be legible at many sizes.

 

I led the planning and budgeting for the 2 week Design Summit. I created the visual identity for the event and translated it to the branded notebooks and agenda posters seen here.
